UK : 3 Studentships - Wellcome Trust Combined Training Programme The Immune System & its Regulation in Health & Disease

The College of Medical & Dental Sciences is pleased to announce the availability of 3 studentships on The Immune System and its Regulation in Health & Disease programme, endorsed and funded by The Wellcome Trust.

An established MRes programme in the first year will train and enhance laboratory skills and scientific understanding. More details at: http://www.mds.bham.ac.uk/mcm Students will have the opportunity to select from a wide supervisor pool to undertake two varying twelve-week projects over the course of their first year. PhD projects will be developed through interaction and discussion with supervisors to ensure the optimum balance between student and supervisor strengths.

The studentships are available for admission in October 2010 and are open to all Home/EU and overseas students. A starting stipend of approximately £18,685 per annum will be provided. Tuition fees will be paid at the Home/EU rate.
