Faculty of Business, Environment and Society
Applications are invited for up to 5 full-time funded PhD research studentships within the Coventry University Business School in the Faculty of Business, Environment and Society at Coventry University.
The studentships are available in the following areas:
- Law (1 studentship in criminal justice and 1 studentship in human rights/any area of law),
- Marketing (1 studentship in service marketing),
- International Business of Sport (1 studentship looking at corruption in professional sport),
- Health Design and Technology Institute (1 studentship to look at organisational, structural and cultural aspects which relate to the success of the HDTI as an example of an Applied Research Institute).
The studentships will commence in September 2008 and last for a three year period at the end of which it is expected that the PhD will have been completed. Each studentship provides a maintenance grant of £12,500 per annum plus fees (at the home/EU rate) for three years. As part of the studentship successful applicants will be expected to undertake some teaching duties and support activities and to contribute to research activities within the Faculty.
Applicants will be expected to have a good Masters degree (average marks of 60% +) in a relevant subject from a recognised academic institution. An IELTS score of 7 or above is required for those who do not have English as a first language.
