Research Institute for Law, Politics and Justice

Applications are invited for up to six full-time doctoral fee waiver bursaries within any of the research priority areas covered by the Research Institute of Law, Politics and Justice at Keele University. These include: Criminology, Community Safety, Crime History, Criminal Careers, Punishment, Policing & Social Control; Political and International Theory; European Politics; International Relations; Environmental Politics & Policy; Critical and Socio-Legal Studies; Law, Gender and Sexuality; Applied Ethics and Moral Philosophy; Medical Law and Ethics; Legal Education, Legal Profession, Cultural & Postcolonial Studies, Migration & International Human Rights.
These fee-waiver bursaries will begin in September 2008 and will include funding for three years to cover fees for PhD registration (at UK/EU rates).
N.B. Applicants who have applied for the funded studentships recently offered by the Research Institute for Law, Politics and Justice will automatically be considered for these fee waiver bursaries and therefore need not make a second application.
