UK : University of East Anglia Two Research and Teaching PhD Studentships in Social Work or Psychology

Application deadline: July 31st 2008

These studentships cover tuition fees, a tax-free maintenance grant (of approx. £18,500 per year) and a Research Training

Support Grant equivalent to ESRC funding levels (currently £750 per year). Applicants would be expected to contribute to teaching within the School, under ESRC guidelines.

[Home/EU and International students are eligible to be considered for these studentships. Tuition fees for international applicants will be paid at the Home/EU tuition fee rate].

Within Social Work & Social Policy we have an internationally renowned research team with interests in:
Children's Services and Children's Well-being, Parenting and Families, Adult Services.

Within Psychology and Psychosocial Sciences, we have a vibrant research team with interests in Cognitive Themes and Approaches, Discursive and Narrative Methodologies, Social and Developmental Psychology, Philosophical Aspects of Explanations in Psychology.
