The Wellcome Trust has funded an exciting and innovative programme to combine a research and clinical training programme in Laboratory Animal Medicine.
Qualified veterinary surgeons are invited to apply for a three year programme undertaking clinical training through the University of Oxford and research studies through the University of Nottingham, in the field of Laboratory Animal Medicine and Surgery.
It is a condition of these studentships that satisfactory enhanced disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.

Students should provide a personal statement expressing “Why I want to undertake the course”. This should form part of the application under section 19 on the form.
