Junior researcher (PhD-Student )in Engineering Science (F/M)

- 2-year fixed term contract, extension of further 2 years, 40h a week

The PhD-student will work under the guidance of a professor on a research theme but will also assist in teaching to a certain extent. She/he should finish the work with a doctoral degree in engineering science.
Mission:
- Optimisation of wastewater treatment plants (energy, process)
- Behaviour of nanoparticles in wastewater treatment plants
Profile:
- Diploma or Master-degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical or Process Engineering or an equivalent engineer degree
- Profound knowledge in Urban Water Engineering
- Willingness to inscribe as PhD-student at UL
- Basic competence in simulation tools is an advantag
- Driving licence for cars
- Language: English and German or French
