Industrial Computing Department, Faculty of Information & Communication Technology, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, Locked Bag 1200, Hang Tuah Jaya, Ayer Keroh, 75450 Melaka, Malaysia.

Responsibilities:
- To apply decision making models on Failure Based Maintenance for Small and Medium Industries in Malaysia.
- To develop real-time Computerized Maintenance Management System.
(All technical specification including design of the framework, mathematical formulae & functional requirements will be given in detail through out the supervision)
Job Description:
- The RA must help the project leader in all works associated with the research.
- The RA is expected to register for a Master Degree by Research program (M.Sc.) with Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).
- The salary will be RM1300/month (tuition fees excluded).
- The period of tenure will be 24 months (maximum).
Requirements:
- A good Bachelor¢s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Informatics/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (CGPA > 3.0) and the potential to develop strong research program in the above research area. Fresh graduates with good results are encouraged to apply.
- Good programming skills, particularly in VB.NET, VB6, VC++ and SQL.
- Good English proficiency.
- Self-motivated, requires minimal supervision, resourceful and willing to learn.
- Experience using .NET in developing multi-tier application will be added advantage.
