UK: PhD Studentships Faculty of Management and Law University of surray

Six studentships in School of Management (inc. one ESRC Quota Award) and two studentships in School of Law, commencing October 2008

An opportunity to undertake research in a Faculty with an international reputation for cutting-edge research in management and law. The Faculty has a large and vibrant community of research students and a high rate of successful completions. It has accreditations from AACSB, ESRC, AMBA and the United Nations World Tourism Organization.

For Law studentships, preference will be given to those able to offer teaching-support in an area of Common Law.

Studentships cover UK/EU tuition fees plus a stipend of £12,600 pa (including limited teaching-support duties). Awards will be made initially for one year, renewable for a further two years (subject to satisfactory progress).

Candidates will normally have, or be expected to obtain, a 2:1 degree and a relevant Masters qualification; an IELTS score of 6.5 is required where English is not a first language.
