A various number of awards contributing £6,000 towards academic fees are available to international candidates undertaking MBA study within the Leeds University Business School. Candidates are expected to have a good first degree or equivalent qualification.
International candidates whose first language is not english must also meet the University’s English language requirements. Generally the university require TOEFL score of at least 580 with 4.5 on the test of written English or computer-based test score of at least 240 with 4.5 on essay rating or an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in all components.
Candidates must have at least three years relevant work experience. Candidates must have secured an unconditional offer of a place on the Leeds MBA full-time programme. As part of the admissions process applicants are asked to complete three essays and consideration for the scholarship will be based on these three essays as well on the other requirements. Candidates are asked to submit a separate scholarship application form before the deadline.
Part scholarships of £6,000 each are available to candidates from the following countries:
- Africa - 3 part scholarships
- China - 1 part scholarship
- Gulf States - 2 part scholarships
- India - 1 part scholarship
- Korea - 1 part scholarship
- Taiwan - 2 part scholarships
- Thailand - 1 part scholarship
- Vietnam - 1 part scholarship
There are also 3 part scholarships available to all international candidates from any country.
