UK: University of Dundee Scholarships for Postgraduate Students School of Accounting & Finance

For 2008-09, the School of Accounting & Finance is offering a number of scholarships to applicants for its taught and research postgraduate programmes – Masters and PhDs (see http://www.dundee.ac.uk/accountancy/index.html for details of programmes). These are likely to be available as follows:

  • up to £3,500 for international students from the African continent, China, India, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Pakistan and Vietnam;
  • up to £2,500 for international students from other countries;
  • up to £1,500 for UK/EU students.

Applicants must already have applied for admission to a postgraduate programme within the School. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need and all applicants must address these issues in their letter of motivation, to be received by Elaine Leong (e.leong@dundee.ac.uk) by Friday, 20 June 2008. Successful applicants will be contacted by the end of June 2008. Scholarships will ordinarily be set off against the University fee invoice for 2008-09. In all circumstances the award will only be transferred once successful applicants have paid the balance in fees owed by them to the University.
