IDPM OCD Masters Scholarships are offered by the Institute for Development and Policy Management (IDPM) , School of Environment and Development, for students undertaking full time postgraduate taught in Business and Management and International Development
Academic requirements
- Bachelors degree with Second Class Honours, Upper Division or above, or Overseas equivalent (please contact School for details of equivalencies)
- Applicants whose first language is a language other than English must achieve 7.0 or above in IELTS or an equivalent test (TOEFL)
The scholarships consists of a half fee waiver at the 2008 overseas fee rate, equivalent to £5,500. The award is automatically deducted from the successful student’s fee at registration. Must be used in the 2008-09 academic year to study on the MSc in Organisational Change & Development
The scholarship is for full time study in the academic year 2008-09. The scholarship is only available to overseas fee paying students. Continuation of the award is subject to satisfactory progress.

This funding is available to students undertaking study in:
- International Development
- Business and Management
Other eligibility criteria
- must be ordinarily resident in a Developing country
- must not have previously studied in a Developed country
- must have a minimum of one years related work experience
- must be able to demonstrate an active interest in development issues
- cannot be held in conjunction with any other award
Application procedure
Applicants are automatically considered for the scholarships once they recieve an offer. The successful candidate will be notified by the end of July. Applications received after the 30th June will not be considered for the award.

Decision date
The successful applicant will be notified by the end of July 2008.
