Three Interdisciplinary PhD Studentships are available funded by the Clinical Biosciences Research Institute:
- Lab-on-a-Chip device for the Generation of Personalised Cancer Vaccines
- Development of Microfluidics devices to study drug effects against Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia
- Lipotoxicity and Apoptosis in the Failing Heart
The preferred start date is Summer 2008. Applicants with a good BSc (1st or 2.1) or MSc degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry will be considered. Only UK/EU citizens are eligible for full funding, including tuition fees. The student stipend will start at £14,500 per annum (tax free).
