3 years postdoctoral fellowships at the Faculty of Education are currently open for applications. Applicants should be PhD degree holders with relevant research background. The appointee will be expected to:
- participate in an on-going research on the sociology of higher education in China and East Asia;
- work with a team and doctoral students who are researching China’s higher education reform and its implications for regional development, (ethnic minority) access and equity in higher education, and social capital issues within higher education;
- participate in the team for the second international survey of the academic profession, specifically the China systems; and
- develop research proposals for future projects.
