Sweden: 7 PhD & Postdoctoral Fellowships at Lulea University of Technology

The "Pervasive, ubiquitous and mobile computing and networking" (PUMCN) research group of the Departmnent of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Lulea University of Technology, Sweden (www.ltu.se) is seeking outstanding applicants in the areas of:

  • pervasive computing, services, networking;
  • mobile systems and networks;
  • distributed and mobile data management;
  • advanced user interfaces;
  • ubiquitous multimedia;
  • personalization and profiling in ubiquitous computing;
  • network design, performance measurement and modelling;
  • sensor networks;
  • context-, and situation-awareness and reasoning;
  • security and privacy in pervasive computing;
  • agent technology;
  • adaptive and autonomic computing systems.

Expected qualifications include strong background in computer science and engineering, excellent oral and written communication skills in Swedish or English.

Preliminary expressions of interest along with CV and supporting documentation should be emailed to phd-search-cs@list.ltu.se before the deadline of 15 May, 2008.
