UK: Postgraduate Studentships in Politics and International Relations

University of Exeter.

Three years fully funded studentships are available to students who plan to enrol in MPhil or PhD programme in Politics and International Relations within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Awards are payable in instalments on enrolment and continuation is subject to satisfactory annual progression.

Studentships are awarded on academic merit and are open to applicants from the UK/EU and overseas. Successful students will probably have applied for Research Council funding or equivalent competitive schemes.

The awards cover:

  • Direct payment of tuition fees (at the standard UK/EU rate - International students will have to the pay the difference between UK and International fees)
  • Maintenance allowance for accommodation and living expenses
  • Payment for limited teaching and other duties carried out by the student for their department

To be eligible you must have received an offer from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences for full-time study for MPhil/PhD in Politics and International Relations by 13 June 2008

How To Apply
There is no separate application procedure for these awards. All you have to do is apply for your MPhil or PhD. All eligible applicants who have been offered a place by the deadline of 13 June 2008 will automatically be considered for an award.

It is very important that you apply for your MPhil/PhD early enough to have received an offer by the June deadline.

All successful applicants will be notified by the end of June 2008.
